Liisi Karindi is a Co-Founder of GLIS, a Global Logistics Information System. The company provides a space for information sharing and traceability in global supply chains and logistical networks. Due to fragmentation of information systems governing supply and logistical data, there is limited product-related information sharing among, and thus access to intelligence thereof, for various parties participating in the supply chains. This makes them vulnerable to disruptions in the case of crises and challenges their businesses due to lack of access to network-inherent information and contacts.
Prior to co-founding GLIS & CCO, she has worked as a program specialist at GIZ, was a head of Asia Information Center at Enterprise Estonia, as well as co-founded the Asian Update Conference Series.
She holds a dual BA/MA degree from Heidelberg university in languages and is fluent in Chinese and Spanish.
