Course reviews

  • My previous education is not in the field of economics, but I have work experience in an international business environment. The microdegree offered an excellent opportunity to refresh my knowledge and connect practical work experience with systematic theory. Particularly valuable was learning in the reverse direction – linking real-world professional experience with theory and building a previously missing theoretical foundation. The programme was well designed and provided a strong basis for understanding international business and marketing. I benefited most from the marketing and business environment courses; in my opinion, the Business and Economic Environment course could be even more extensive. The management and organisational behaviour course was also substantial, and the professionalism of the lecturers and discussions supported a deeper understanding of the topics. The programme suited me well in terms of scheduling, as lectures took place on weekdays during the day. Although I occasionally had to miss lectures and therefore felt the lack of recorded sessions, I am very satisfied with the overall learning experience and would recommend the microdegree to others. For me, it also sparked a clear interest in continuing my studies at the master’s level.
