This autumn, Estonian Business School (EBS) and the coding school kood/Jõhvi will launch Estonia’s first English-taught bachelor’s programme that brings together technological skills and business acumen. The new programme, Business and Technology Management, responds to the growing demand in the labour market for leaders who understand both software development and business strategy.

Each year, Postimees publishes its traditional school rankings, listing Estonian high schools based on national exam results. This ranking serves as an important benchmark in the educational landscape, providing valuable insight into the academic standards and progress of schools. It not only influences the reputation of schools but also offers prospective students and their parents clear guidance on which institutions provide the strongest preparation for further studies and future careers.

The year was 1988; the ideological directions were set, but one man, Madis Habakuk, envisioned a different future... For 35 years, EBS has been striving towards this alternative future every day. This remains crucial today, as we face changing expectations from people and society towards education. Education is and will always be the foundation upon which individuals can build a strong career and life.

Knowing that the future arrives faster than expected and that a university must be able to glimpse into the future while staying in the present has been natural at EBS throughout its entire operational history. The vision of EBS for the year 2028 highlights keywords such as lifelong learning, internationalisation, collaboration, and the synergy of science and entrepreneurship – to name just a few.
