MA programmes

MBA programmes
The MBA programme is suitable for you if you do not come from a business studies background and you have at least three years of management or team-leading experience. We will provide you with the skills, tools, knowledge, and confidence to make informed decisions in the challenging technology-driven global business setting. We work with real-life examples in a team-centred learning and teaching setting.
Master's studies requirements
Proof of sufficient language level
For equal evaluation, we ask the candidates to present an internationally recognised English language test, so that results could be comparable. A list of suitable internationally recognised language tests is provided below. We do not accept any other internationally recognised language tests.
Requirements for internationally recognised language tests:
- TOEFL iBT score 87
- Please note that the TOEFL test result is valid 2 years!
- IELTS Academic (International English Language Testing Service) 5.5 with or above in each individual component.
- Please note that the IELTS test result is valid 2 years!
- Cambridge test FCE (CAE; CPE are suitable as well)
- Duolingo language test score 100 points
The internationally recognised test of English may be replaced by:
- Completion of a previous educational level in USA, UK, Ireland, Australia, Canada, or New Zealand.
- Completion of the previous level of education taught fully in English in EU/EEA member states.
- Please note that the transcript of the records must include that the studies were conducted fully in English.
- Students from other countries are required to present an internationally recognised English language test, even if they completed their previous studies in English.
EBS reserves the right to waive the requirements based on previous experience with applicants from different countries.
Important Dates
1 October 2025
Start of admissions to the two-year MBA programme for the 2026 spring semester for Estonian applicants.
Admissions for all other programmes start February 2026.
5 January 2026
Application deadline for Estonian applicants for the two-year MBA programme starting in January 2026.
7 January 2026
Admission interviews take place at EBS campus.
Submitting an application
- Create an account in DreamApply
- You will be asked to provide your personal data, educational background, language skills, extracurricular activities and employment information.
- You will be asked to provide the contact information of two references (a teacher, tutor, co-worker, manager, etc.) who will receive an invitation via email to provide an assessment of the applicant.
- To assess the applicant’s ambition, motivation and argumentation skills, you will answer several questions about your background, achievements and future goals.
Upload proper scans of the following educational documents:
- Previous education documents (certificate/diploma and grade transcript)
- Provide authorised English translations of your documents if the originals are not in English along with the original documents.
- NB! If your final documents are not available yet, then upload your most recent academic transcripts in English.
- Proof of English language proficiency
- CV
- Copy of passport identification pages
Application fee
- The application fee is 120€ and it allows the applicant to apply to 2 programmes during one application round.
- The application fee invoice will be sent via DreamApply after the admissions team has received your application. Please keep in mind that the invoice is not generated automatically.
- The application and relevant documents will be processed within 7 days of receiving your application fee.
- The application fee is non-refundable.
- Candidates from EU/EEA countries, as well as from Ukraine and Kazakhstan, are exempt from paying the application fee.
Admission interview
You will be contacted to schedule the admission interview. The interview will be conducted in English and is around 20 minutes. Admission interviews take place once a month.
The aim of the interview is to get to know the applicant better. We expect you to share your story, your journey towards EBS, and your future aspirations.
We evaluate the admission interview based on 3 criteria:
- Motivation
- Ambition
- Argumentation skill
We encourage you to ask your questions about EBS during the interview.
We will inform you about admission interview result in 7 days.
If you successfully pass the admission interview you will be conditionally accepted:
- To get full acceptance we would need you to fulfill conditions that are brought out in the conditional acceptance letter. Once they are fulfilled we will issue a final acceptance letter.
Verification of the documents
In order to receive full acceptance, we will need to verify the validity of your educational documents. Please note that educational documents should be sent only upon the request of the Admissions team.
Options for sending the documents:
- Send us notarised and verified hard copies of the educational documents by post:
- Please note that the application documents will not be returned
- Contact details: EBS Admissions and Study Department, address: A. Lauteri 3, 10114 Tallinn, Estonia
- If you are in Estonia already, then you can come by the study department and scan the original documents as well. Please take the diploma, transcript and passport with you in this case.
- Ask your previous education institution to send us the documents directly (from their official email to admission@ebs.ee).
- In case there are online verification services available in your country, this option can be used as well.
Academic recognition
- To ensure that all submitted education documents are authentic and grant access to higher education in Estonia, they are verified by an Academic Recognition Information Centre called ENIC/NARIC.
- EBS will send the educational documents for assessment to ENIC/NARIC.
- The ENIC/NARIC evaluation can take up to one month.
- Please note that a positive ENIC/NARIC evaluation decision is a prerequisite for receiving the final admission decision.
Financing your studies
Tuition fee
Study Investment
If you are a citizen or a holder of a long-term residence permit in the Republic of Estonia you can pay in several instalments by using the Study Investment.
In cooperation with banks, EBS offers you a study investment solutions, so you can better plan the future and cash flows. Study investment is a financial service. You sign an agreement with LHV or Inbank. The bank pays your tuition fee to EBS and you will make monthly payments to the bank.
An instalment contract can be signed at the EBS Office of Academic Affairs quickly and conveniently without visiting the bank.
Students from Finland are eligible for financial aid from Kela, including the study grant, housing supplement and loan guarantees.
