This course redefines marketing as a strategic leadership tool that connects customer needs, market dynamics, and the company’s unique value proposition. Participants will develop marketing strategies grounded in big-picture thinking, teamwork, and the ethical use of technology—skills essential for success in today’s evolving business landscape.
This master level course is designed for for experienced professionals and team leaders from diverse backgrounds who are now working in business leadership roles. It is well-suited for those who have entered marketing roles or shaped their marketing experience over time but have never formally studied the subject.
Participants who complete the course will receive a continuing education certificate with ECTS credits.
The lecture schedule is being finalized. The course will take place on Fridays and/or Saturdays only.

Katri Kerem is the head of the Entrepreneurship and Business Administration bachelor’s program and an Associate Professor at Estonian Business School, with extensive practical experience in marketing and advertising. Kerem has a PhD in economics from Tallinn University of Technology. Before her academic career, she worked as a PR and advertising manager for one of Estonia’s largest wholesale companies and gained experience at the international advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi. She has taught marketing at several universities in Estonia and has been running international seminars in France at IAE Aix-en-Provence since 2011. Her main research area is consumer behavior, especially in food-related marketing and its impact on children's food choices, as well as the role of food in shaping identity.
