Lecturer(s) in Emerging Technologies and Product Management
Position Overview
Estonian Business School seeks qualified lecturer(s) to deliver master's level courses in our flagship MBA and innovative Technology Innovation MBA (TIMBA) programmes. We invite applications from candidates interested in full-time employment or part-time teaching opportunities, with flexibility to teach one specific course or multiple courses in the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to curriculum development in rapidly evolving technological fields
- Develop and deliver master's level course(s) in both traditional and e-learning formats
- Supervise projects and sprints, provide feedback and assessment to the participants
- Organise collaboration between the university and businesses
Our Programmes
The selected candidate(s) will contribute to EBS flagship MBA programme offerings:
- Two-year MBA Programme - Develops managers who can ignite and inspire lasting growth, with custom specialisation microdegrees in the second year.
- Technology Innovation MBA (TIMBA) - Specialised programme focusing on digital product management with strong business foundations.
Both programmes feature session-based formats allowing professionals to study without interrupting their careers, with classes typically held every second week on Fridays and Saturdays.
Courses
The lecturer(s) will be responsible for teaching and taking lead for one or more the following master's level courses:
- Emerging Technologies for Business.
- 6 ECTS course starting in Spring 2026.
- Focus on technology application in business contexts.
- This course is a critical component of both MBA and TIMBA core curriculum.
- Product Management and Lifecycle Management microdegree.
- 15 ECTS microdegree programme consisting of 3 courses starting in Spring 2027.
- Digital product management concepts, frameworks and methods. Value proposition development. Digital product vision, mission, roadmap and product metrics. Product management sprint.
- Product Development and Delivery microdegree.
- 15 ECTS microdegree programme consisting of 3 courses starting in Spring 2027.
- Digital product development and delivery concepts, frameworks and methods. Technology use and personnel management in leading digital product operations and delivery. Contingency planning. Product delivery sprint,
Application deadline
Qualifications required:
- Practical and Industry experience in product management and / or emerging technologies
- At least master's degree in the relevant field
- Previous teaching experience
- Active experience in using various AI tools
- Excellent English language skills
Qualifications preferred:
- Experience with digital learning platforms
- Willingness to take up PhD studies and research
- Earlier research in relevant field
Employment options
We offer flexible employment arrangements:
- Full-time academic position with teaching, research, and curriculum development responsibilities
- Part-time teaching contract as a professional lecturer or lecturer of practice, allowing you to maintain your current professional position in product management or technology leadership
- Course-specific contracts for those who wish to teach only one specialised course.
