Academic year kick-off Boot Camp

Master Studies in EBS will kick off with Boot Camp in the creative environment of Roosta Holiday Villages in Noarootsi, Läänemaa

September 6-7, 2019

Boot Camp is an intensive 2-day business development mini hackathon to kick off your Master Studies. You will experience teamwork in creative workshop and the presentation of future ideas. In these two days, we will facilitate the collaboration and synergy between people with different competencies, skills and backgrounds and networking among new master students starting 2019.

Turbulent times and proliferation of disruptive business models require entrepreneurs and leaders to be mindful of societal trends affecting their industries and companies. To react to the changes, they need to train their adaptability muscles to flex their ability to think faster and take prompt action. At our Boot Camp we’ll kick off by looking at what is changing, then choose a major problem and thereafter all of us will start with a sprint to come up with real solutions to those wicked problems and thereby boost the ability to start new business ideas immediately.

Good idea itself is often not enough, if the team behind the idea fails to communicate clearly and passionately. The hackathon will be a great place to practice your investor pitching skills, engaging your audiences and conveying your message with passion and impact.

Leho Laul
International Business Administration MA student
„The structure and professionalism in this event was awesome. I believe we all received much necessary and something to remember from this week-end. It’s the masterclass of ice-breaking that you don’t meet too often. This is all you need in the beginning of the school year – concentration on learning. Extra credits go to the ability of sticking to the agenda.”

Taranika Tionna Nurmik

Management in Digital Society MBA student

"I believe that the Estonia Business School admissions team did an excellent job bringing together a diverse group of like-minded people. I felt that each person brought in strong conversations about their professional field and each person was open to share about his or her journey in life.  The Boot Camp gave us an opportunity to discover the importance of interconnectivity and I believe that interconnectivity is a true reflection of Estonian Business School spirit, culture and aspiration for it’s future legacy."
