Our Core Competencies in Investment and Finance microdegree programme offers an advanced-level journey into the world of finance.
 

Ideal for those eager to explore global finance, our microdegree aligns with the prestigious CFA Level 1 curriculum, ensuring industry-relevant knowledge. Immerse yourself in a culturally diverse environment where esteemed faculty foster a boundary-breaking mindset. Comprising three key courses, our microdegree equips students with essential finance and investment competencies:

  • Investment Management: Master portfolio management, focusing on risk-return dynamics.
  • Corporate Finance: Gain insights into critical financial issues like risk management and ethics.
  • Finance Ethics and Law: Navigate finance's ethical and legal landscape, enhancing decision-making skills

Learning format
 

Classes take place in person—there are no online sessions. In addition to classroom lectures, you should plan for independent study, as the programme includes individual assignments, group work, and presentations. The programme is delivered in English in a learning group of up to 30 participants, including undergraduate students.
In addition to the scheduled lecture days, the course workload includes independent assignments. Classes will be held on weekdays between 10:00–17:15 (exact dates and times will be confirmed by June 2025, from 2 September to 18 December 2025. The programme runs from September 2 to December 18, 2025, with weekly lectures and seminars. Participation is mandatory, with no live broadcasting or recordings. Registration and payment
 

  • Registration opens on 1 July via MyEBS and remains available until 25 August or until all places are filled. 

    Estonian Business School is a cooperation partner of the Estonian Unemployment Fund training card. Registration here

    In case payment will be made by individual or your company, then you can generate an invoice for either a company or an individual through the purchase system. The payment deadline is 25 August
    Payment via invoice is accepted until August 25th.

  • Basic knowledge of accounting
  • Completed secondary education
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher
