Do you feel helpless in the face of new sustainability requirements? Do you want to green your business but not sure where to start? Do you want to make sustainable changes in your business and understand the opportunities for a green economy?  
Microcredit's 'Greening and the Foundations of a Sustainable Economy' programme provides a comprehensive overview of the principles of sustainability and the green transition and how to apply them in business.
 

During the programme, you will acquire the knowledge and practical skills to:
 

• Understand the impact of climate change, biodiversity loss and overconsumption;
• Integrate environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles into business strategy;
• integrate social, environmental and economic (ESG) aspects into environmental management and sustainable development (ESG, ESG, ESG) solutions;
• design business models that are in line with the principles of the circular economy.

 
The nine-week master level micodegree programme consists of four courses on the dynamics between the sustainability crisis and entrepreneurship, designing and integrating sustainable strategies into business objectives, cleantech entrepreneurship and circular economy business models.

 Our microcredits dedicated to grass issues are designed for people whose company will need grass professionals in the future, or who are responsible for implementing their company's strategy and decisions and want to better understand the challenges and trends of a sustainable economy.
 
The Green and Sustainable Economy Microcredit programme is designed for:

• Managers and team leaders who are responsible for the implementation of corporate strategies and who want to better understand the challenges and trends of a sustainable economy; 

• Entrepreneurs who want to either start an energy-efficient business or integrate sustainability into an existing strategy;

• Professionals and consultants, career changers who want to broaden their horizons and gain new skills in the sustainable economy;

• Public officials or policy makers who want to better understand the principles of sustainable economy and their implementation;

• Anyone with an interest in the sustainable economy - no previous experience in the green economy is necessary!

Study 
Learning will take place with EBS Masters students and, in addition to the lecture days mentioned in the programme, the course will also include independent work. Learning sessions will take place on Fridays and Saturdays over one week, from 10.00 to 17.00 (9 weeks in total) between 18 October and 13 December 2025.
 
Registration for the programme (the online consultation is already open) will be open until 10 October or until places become available. The reduced price is valid until 15 September.

The programme is open to students with higher education only..
On completion of the programme, learners will receive a certificate of continuing education and the credits obtained can be used towards a Master's degree.
