Securities Valuation and Risk Management microdegree programme starts
The Microdegree in Securities Analysis and Risk Management is designed for professionals involved in investment decisions or financial analysis who wish to deepen their expertise or transition into the finance sector. The program focuses on classical financial analysis and risk management, emphasizing valuation models and quantitative risk assessment.
The program consists of two bachelor-level courses (9 ECTS in total):

Securities Valuation – covers valuation of stocks and bonds using absolute and relative models, discounted cash flow methods, and explores how CSR and macroeconomic factors affect investment decisions. 
- 
Risk Management – provides a comprehensive overview of key business risks and techniques for measuring and managing them, including scenario analysis, stress testing, and VaR. 
Coursework combines lectures with independent assignments.

Registration for the program will start before Christmas and will remain open until January 25 or until available spots are filled. 
 
Participants are expected to
- have completed secondary education,
- possess English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level,
- Intermediate-level knowledge of finance or relevant experience background. Beneficial if you understand the time value of money, risk–return relationship, basic financial instruments, capital budgeting principles and how financial markets work.
