Intercultural Communication & Management of Cultural Industries

The thematic R&D group on Intercultural Communication & Management of Cultural Industries is dedicated to exploring the dynamic intersection of culture, economy, and technology. Our focus encompasses the production, distribution, and consumption of cultural goods and services, including media, entertainment, arts, and digital content. By examining the cultural industries through multidisciplinary lenses, we aim to understand their impact on society, economy, and individual identity. Our research addresses key issues such as the role of creativity and innovation, the influence of digital transformation, the challenges of globalization, and the policies shaping cultural markets. We investigate how cultural differences impact the creation, distribution, and reception of cultural products and services. Through rigorous analysis and collaborative projects, we strive to contribute to the economically viable development and vibrant future of the cultural industries. By combining insights from media and cultural studies to management (of cultural industries), we aim to enhance the understanding and practice of intercultural communication and management in the cultural sector.
