David Peck is an Associate Professor in Estonian Business School, alongside his position in Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), The Netherlands. David is developing links between Estonia and The Netherlands.

David's research and teaching is both multi-faculty and across universities. The work includes keywords such as; 21st century sustainability challenges, resource constraints, critical raw materials (CRM), circular built environment, circular product design, the history of scarcity, company responses to Critical, Strategic and Advanced Materials, Circular Remanufacturing, governmental policy - including defence, new closed loop business models and societal circular actions.

David is a manager of large EU research projects. He was the manager in EU 1 FP7 (CRM Innonet) and 2 H2020 projects (ERN - remanufacturing & ProSUM - Urban Mine), & Pop Machina (circular city makerspaces). Current Horizon Europe project CiRCLETECH is on-going. David is a manager for TU Delft in the EIT Raw Materials, European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) programme and represents Western EU in the Executive Board. David supports policy makers in particular in policies regarding materials and circular.

David teaches on the opportunities and challenges regarding innovative circular business models. He also teaches on remanufacturing in a circular context. David is involved in a series of MOOCs on EdX, Coursera and coming soon, new MOOC’s on Circular Entrepreneurship and Renewable Energy Technologies. David is an active supervisor of MSc and PhD research projects and joins the EBS research group as an active member.
