EBS and YHU Collaboration Brings European Standards to Armenian Higher Education

a
The Estonian Business School (EBS) is proud to announce the successful completion of a collaborative project with Yerevan Haybusak University (YHU). This initiative, generously supported by ESTDEV – Eesti Rahvusvahelise Arengukoostöökeskus, focused on reforming YHU's bachelor programme in management to align it with the European Standards and Guidelines (ESG) for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area.

Key Achievements of the Project:

  • Developed a new outcome-based curriculum aligned with ESG for higher education quality assurance.
  • Provided targeted training for YHU programme managers on outcome-based curriculum design.
  • Trained YHU faculty in innovative and student-centered teaching methods.
  • Strengthened partnerships between educational institutions in Estonia and Armenia.

This project highlights how international cooperation can elevate education quality, drive excellence, and promote sustainable development in higher education. EBS is excited to build on this success and looks forward to further collaboration with YHU in the future.

We are immensely grateful to the dedicated EBS team members – Olav Aarna, Anneli Veispak, and Katri Kerem – whose expertise and commitment were instrumental in achieving the project's goals. Their contributions have not only ensured the project's success but also laid the foundation for lasting impact in higher education reform.

Finally, we extend our gratitude to ESTDEV – Eesti Rahvusvahelise Arengukoostöökeskus for their invaluable support and to everyone who played a role in making this initiative a success.
