February as a month holds a special place for Estonians. It's a time for joy and pride as we celebrate the birth of our republic and acknowledge those whose contributions drive our country, society and community forward. On the 20th of February, the EBS family gathered for a festive event to celebrate Estonian freedom and highlight the outstanding achievements and individuals of the previous year at EBS.

The afternoon started with a common singing of the anthem, followed by a welcome speech from rector Meelis Kitsing. We enjoyed a performance by the EBS Chamber Choir, gained insights from motivational speaker Raimo Ülavere's inspirational talk, and delighted in the music of Marianne Leibur's trio. In line with the theme year of cultural diversity, we also discussed EBS's multi-national community, hearing from faculty and teachers from other countries.
