From 12th to 15th February 2025, EBS High School’s mathematics teacher Annika Volt and head of administration Marta Kattel met with representatives of EBS High School’s new partner school in Košice, Slovakia.
SSOŠE Košická Akadémia is a private vocational secondary school focused on entrepreneurship, information systems, and services. The purpose of the visit was to strengthen partnership ties and prepare for student exchanges between the two schools, scheduled for March and April this year. Additionally, they visited the Slovak branch of the international company Solar Turbines to involve them in the student project. This initiative is part of the Erasmus+ programme.
Annika Volt shared her experience:
"Košice is a charming small town where everything important is within walking distance. Our hosts put in a great deal of effort to welcome us, and our days were packed with activities, often ending late in the evening. Our cooperation partner showed a strong interest in Estonia, considering it part of Scandinavia. They also expressed great respect for EBS High School’s educational approach and showed genuine curiosity about Estonia, EBS High School, and study opportunities at EBS University."
