Estonian Business School’s Bachelor’s programme International Business Administration received EPAS accreditation in June 2016. This year EBS submitted its second annual Progress Report and received a positive evaluation from EPAS.

This positive evaluation represents validation of what EBS has done so far and the high quality of Estonian Business School’s study programme. EPAS especially brought out university’s efforts to enhance the mobility of faculty and students - EBS has the highest outgoing mobility rate among Estonian universities.

„This is once again a great recognition for EBS,” said Anto Liivat, the Head of Bachelor Studies at EBS. “It shows that the quality of our studies is up there with the very best business schools around the world. Such accreditation represents validation of what we’ve done to date in developing our study programmes and in ensuring the quality of our teaching and the competitiveness of the education we provide. It also boosts the reputation of both EBS specifically and Estonian higher education generally and opens up new opportunities for our students and lecturers for working with recognised European schools, colleges and universities.”

In order to maintain EPAS accreditation EBS had to increase international diversity of the faculty and students, fine-tune the Quality Assurance system and processes and enhance the impact of applied research to improve the academic rigor of the programme.

EPAS was launched in 2005 and in 13 years has had a considerable impact on the quality of business schools programmes all over the world. The programme accreditation from EFMD is one of the most demanding yet effective ways to certify the quality of a programme in the field of business and management.

As of June 2018, 107 accredited programmes from 80 institutions across 37 countries have been awarded EPAS accreditation.
