Golden Haba Gala 2025: An Evening of Elegance, Recognition, and Shared Moments

a
On 11 April, Estonian Business School hosted its annual appreciation event – the Golden Haba Gala 2025 – bringing together more than 150 participants, including students, sixth-formers, faculty members, and a 15-member organising team.

This year’s gala took place at the stylish Fotografiska, which was beautifully transformed to reflect the theme “Royal Casino & Old Jazz” — resulting in a chic, memorable, and vibrant evening.

The project manager for the event was Hermiina Prave, who began planning as early as September 2024. She assembled the team based on individuals’ strengths, networks, interests, and skills, dividing them into four working groups: social media, sponsorship, decorations, and activities/scheduling. Over eight months, the team worked with great dedication — and although they encountered some challenges, these were successfully overcome through strong teamwork. “I believe we all learned something new and left the experience wiser and more capable. I’m grateful for my team and their hard work — without them, I wouldn’t have been able to organise this event,” said Hermiina.

Awards were presented in eight main categories, alongside three surprise audience prizes. The categories were devised by the organising team, drawing inspiration from previous years’ nominations. In addition, three special awards were presented to guests attending the event.

Award winners:

  • High Schooler of the Year: Jenny Järvela
  • Bachelor’s Student of the Year: Hendrik Rossar
  • Master’s Student of the Year: Lauri Kummel
  • King or Queen of Business (EBSter of the Year): Hermiina Prave
  • House Fairy of the Year: Maria Kottsova
  • Excellence in Education: Alar Kein
  • Surprise of the Year: Aleks Timm
  • MVP of the Year: EBS Football Team

Audience prizes:

  • Best Dressed
  • Gambler of the Night (bingo winner)
  • Fastest Ticket Buyer

Throughout the evening, guests were entertained by a variety of performances: including a jazz duo – Nikita Korzoun & Lota-Loviisa Rohtla, pianist Vova Todurov, and headline act Aleksandr Popov from Estonia Comedy, who kept the audience laughing. Guests had the opportunity to capture memories at the photo wall and vintage photo booth, enjoy card and poker games, and participate in bingo. A delicious three-course dinner was also served, prepared by Fotografiska’s in-house chefs. The official afterparty took place next door at Suhe Bar, where more than 100 guests continued the celebration late into the night.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to our supporters: Stuudio Get, Padelikeskus, Funbox, Funrent, Peninuki, Fotografiska, Punch Drinks, Suhe Bar, Mövenpick Hotels, ibis and ibis Styles Hotels, Öödhouses, and of course, EBS. Special thanks also go to the entire Golden Haba Gala team — without whom this unforgettable evening would not have been possible.

Golden Haba Gala 2025 was a beautiful, successful, and truly memorable occasion — a perfect testament to the unity, energy, and elegance of the EBS community.
