Scholarship for visiting PhD students

 

Goal: To improve the awareness of young researchers of diverse teaching and research practices and encourage their involvement in international cooperation projects. 

 

Eligibility requirements: All enrolled doctoral students of foreign universities and research institutions (with full study load) are eligible to apply for that scholarship. 

 

Length of stay: 1- 10 months

 

Application procedure: Motivation letter, letter of recommendation from home university´s thesis supervisor, research proposal, certificate of home university, and detailed plan of research must be submitted to triin.sillaots@ebs.ee. 

 

Decision procedure: The decision on accepting/declining the application is made by the receiving academic department based content of the above-mentioned documents.

 

Financing: The scholarship scheme is financed 100% by the Education and Youth Board.
