Digital Innovation, Transformations and Resilience microdegree programme starts

22.08.2025 10:00 - 17.10.2025 17:00
Estonian Business School, Lauteri 3, Tallinn

Digitalisation efforts are often a complicated process, not only do you need to convince decision-makers and staff. You also need to identify which processes can be digitalized. Therefore, it is much easier to think about digitalisation as a transformation.

Our microcredential programme focuses on different aspects of digital transformation, and participants will gain practical experience in implementing digital projects and driving organisational development. Over the course of the nine-week training period, participants will complete three courses covering topics related to:

  • Developing digital innovation strategies
  • Process management principles
  • The use of new technologies
  • Crisis management
  • Developing adaptable teams
  • Crisis management course: adapting management style in crises.

In a situation where the external environment is making companies vulnerable to unexpected and unforeseen events, we have also introduced a Crisis Management course that provides the tools to adapt your management style to deal with crises using different emergency response concepts as practiced by successful companies (including aerospace/transportation, manufacturing, chemical, law enforcement, military and other industries).

Upon successful completion of the Microcredit programme, students will receive a certificate and credits can be counted as part of their Master's degree.

  •  I liked how Anu made us use (semi)openly available data sources to analyze our assumptions and ideas for business opportunities. I will start using some techniques and sources to evaluate arguments in my everyday work.
  • Seeing how professionals pull data for decisions from external sources was valuable and exciting I liked how almost all assignments, discussions, and presentations were built up for the next steps.
  • Anu's attitude and experience are at the top level. Her delivery and explanations were actual and relevant. Many examples were surprising and new.
  •  Digital Transformation course was complemented by several others. It had depth and I have already now started apply several methods and principles to my everyday work.
  • It changed my ways of thinking and working for the better. I am happy for my decision to take this course.
  • I liked how Diana balanced out her own experiences and other's stories. It was clear she has wast experience in modeling processes and working with transformations.
  •  Diana welcomed comments and questions. It was warm and friendly atmosphere. Her presence was professional and clearly encouraging for us to participate in the class. Also she recognized that the software and modeling process could be new and maybe challenging, but she encouraged us to try for our own experience and not to be perfectionist and afraid.
  •  Programme was was practical, hands on and you could choose your own challenges to work on.
  • Janis is extremely competent in his subject. Great presenter! Good management of atmosphere in the class.

  • Thank to Janis' course, my organization got the first version of it's own emergency response organization plan.

  • I gained a lot from this course, something I hadn't thought to much about but was a real mindset change on how to deal with emergencies.
