🌿 Going Green: Company Level Changes microdegree programme starts

19.01.2024 10:00 - 03.12.2024 17:00
Estonian Business School, Lauteri 3, Tallinn

Our newest microdegree program, "Going Green: Company Level Changes," empowers participants to lead sustainable development within their organizations, reducing environmental impact, fostering social responsibility, and ensuring long-term profitability. The program imparts knowledge in ethical decision-making, supporting corporate reputation, and addressing ethical and legal challenges. Understanding product life cycle design and sustainable marketing opens the door to the development of sustainable products and responsible marketing strategies.

Designed for those seeking a deeper understanding of company-level changes to meet green transition requirements, the microdegree is particularly suitable for professionals, including managers, responsible for shaping and implementing organizational strategy. Participation requires prior knowledge in the field of sustainability, experience in green topics, or successful completion of a pre-assessment (to be specified during consultation). Beginners are encouraged to explore the microdegree "Green Transition and Sustainable Economy," starting in August 2024, for a comprehensive introduction to green topics.

Key Topics:

  • Ethical decision-making in the business context
  • Designing and managing circular business models
  • Product life cycle analysis
  • Evaluating and enhancing the sustainability of marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving in complex environmental and ethical challenges.

The study sessions take place every other week on Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 to 17:00 (a total of 9 weeks) between January 19 and March 15, 2024. Learning is conducted in conjunction with EBS master's students, and in addition to the lecture days specified in the program, the course also involves independent work.

Registration for the study positions has begun and is open until January 10 or until available slots are filled. The discounted price is valid until December 21.
If you are not currently an EBS student, we recommend consulting with us before Christmas to secure your spot at the discounted rate! Reserve a time here (no consultations will be held from December 22, 2023, to January 3, 2024). The purchasing platform on MYEBS will be opened at the end of December.
