EBS High School Students and Teachers in Košice, Slovakia with an Erasmus+ Learning Project

a
From 24 to 28 March, students and teachers from EBS High School were in Košice, Slovakia to participate in an Erasmus+ learning project.

During the one-week project, 13 students from EBS and 10 students from partner school SŠOSE Košická Akadémia worked in international teams to develop a concept for a student company. The company had to adhere to the principles of sustainable entrepreneurship and be suitable for both the Estonian and Slovakian markets. As part of the project preparation, students conducted market research prior to the physical mobility.

Throughout the exchange, participants explored the history, culture and economies of both countries. As an example of an international company, students visited Solar Turbines Slovakia. They also took part in workshops on artificial intelligence, public speaking, and poster design.

To promote environmental awareness, students visited the High Tatras and a local natural history museum. On the final day of the exchange, participants were tasked with pitching their student company idea in a three-minute presentation, followed by a poster session in a fair-style format.

The students were supported and guided by teachers from both EBS High School and the partner school. The project was funded by the European Union.
