To thank our team for the work done with heart, our management recognized the most outstanding aprojects and people of EBS 2022. Recognition was given in several different categories. Several peer awards earned the admiration and gratitude of the collective. The successful innovative projects of EBS and the value contribution of our EBS team members to society and the world in general were highlighted.
EBS YOUNG VALUE CREATOR OF THE YEAR 2022 / RENEE PESOR
Renee contributes to EBS in many different ways and activities. He has an incredible capacity for work, and while teaching, he has received exceptionally good feedback from students. He also contributes to the research activities of EBS, which is also confirmed by the successfully defended doctoral degree at EBS on 21.12.2022. Renee participates in the projects carried out by EBS and contributes to the wider society with his activities.
EBS EXPERIENCED VALUE CREATOR OF THE YEAR 2022 / KAIRE PÕDER
Kaire teaches, does a large amount of research, and carries out various projects. She has contributed to the debate on financing higher education, she is passionate about issues concerning the development of EBS, and with her daily work she is the best example to all her colleagues working in science.
EBS GREEN AMBASSADOR OF THE YEAR 2022 / ALEKSANDRA KEKKONEN
Aleksandra is an initiator of EBS green thinking and actions, whose volunteering with her heart creates new ideas and actions in the field of EBS green thinking and sustainability. She is undoubtedly the number 1 promoter of green thinking in our collective, a good example and a direction indicator of sustainability.
EBS BRIGHT EYE OF THE YEAR 2022 / SHEILA SÜDA
Sheila is a positive, optimistic, happy and smiling colleague who is always a pleasure to meet. She literally shines when communicating with colleagues and partners. She notices details, creates goodness around her and organizes activities that unite the team. She lifts the mood, shares goodness, creates a good mood and also makes others around her shine and smile.
EBS NEWCOMER OF THE YEAR 2022 / KADI TRUULEHT
Kadi is a person who joined our team in 2022, and we are very happy to have her join our team. She has been a quick adaptor and a starter. She is systematic in her work, professional and the right person in her place. She has also significantly contributed to the cooperation of our team, brought many nice team-building ventures and events to working life.

Marta is characterized as a person who is very professional, helpful, skilled in all kinds of issues. She is always there when needed, if possible she also helps with topics that are not actually part of her duties. She is valued primarily for his helpfulness and friendliness. She is priceless.
EBS DUO OF THE YEAR 2022 / MONIKA SIIRAKI JA LIINA REIMANN
Actually, there were more than one good highlighted colleagues at the recognition competition, but in 2022, the so-called power woman duo of EBS University's study department - Monika Siiraki and Liina Reimann - stood out as special. A duo valued at EBS primarily for their professionalism, dedication, extensive experience, thoroughness and work done with heart!
EBS PROJECT OF THE YEAR 2022 / BAKALAUREUSEÕPPE UUENENUD PRAKTIKAPROJEKT
Implementation of new Internship BA level - successful launch of re-designed internship for bachelor students. Developing of new approach to internship, creating internship offers platform in Students Intanet, introducing EBS career kick-start days, working with companies and supervisors. It is a project that has received good feedback from students, colleagues, cooperation partners and also from other universities. The leaders and project managers of the internship project were Marge Täks and Made Katsevič.
SPECIAL ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND THANKS / KARMEN HARJU
As the last and very important part of the EBS appreciation and recognition event, special recognition and thanks were expressed to KARMEN HARJU, an EBS colleague with a very long working experience. For a woman who completed 28 years of service at EBS in December 2022.
Her closest colleagues describe her as a person who meets and communicates with many different people, who knows the past as well as today. We know her as a good coordinator of the work of the department and a smart delegate, whose contribution and action have always gotten things done. She cares about people, has created a nicer working environment for us and has made many feel at home.
The EBS management would like to thank the whole team from the bottom of their hearts! We wish the school family joy and continued enthusiasm in the new year 2023!
