Future Earth is a global network of scientists, researchers, and innovators collaborating for a more sustainable planet.
The Congress was held in Helsinki and Espoo, Finland from 10–14 June in collaboration with Finland’s Sustainability Science Days, organised jointly by the University of Helsinki and Aalto University. The Estonian Business School conducted an interactive roundtable discussion, “Green Transition in Estonia: Entrepreneurial Perspectives and Policy Recommendations,” featuring Aleksandra Kekkonen, Renee Pesor, Marge Täks, and an invited speaker from Finland, Zahra Safaei. The session presented the results of a recent study conducted by EBS, with researchers delivering three brief presentations based on data and information collected from Estonian companies before the main discussion commenced. The interactive roundtable participants discussed the differences between Estonia and Finland in terms of green transition from various perspectives, including barriers and enablers.
