Estonian Business School announced rectorial elections

Since Arno Almann's term as rector of EBS ends on 31 August 2020, rectorial elections have been announced. Application deadline is 4 May.

A SUITABLE CANDIDATE:

  • Has a PhD and has been elected to the position of professor in the past or at present
  • Has extensive experience in managing people and processes
  • Has international work experience
  • Understands the business environment in Estonia and at the international level
  • Looks to the future and values sustainable development
  • Understands the opportunities and needs of EBS as a private university

THE RECTOR OF EBS HAS THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Evidence of scientific qualification with reference to ETIS (Estonian Research Information System) profile
  • Explanations evidencing successful management and international cooperation
  • Proposals and vision for updating and implementing the Development Plan of the Estonian Business School for 2019-2023

The Election Committee formed by the Council of the Estonian Business School selects the rector’s candidate, who must pass a vote of confidence at the Senate of the Estonian Business School. The rector will be appointed and the contract with him or her will be entered into by the Council of the Estonian Business School. The rector will be elected for five years. The elected rector’s term in office will start on 1 September 2020.
