Why did you choose to study at EBS?

Main reasons for choosing EBS: Firstly, I wanted to study abroad. Secondly, I wanted an international degree. And thirdly, I had heard excellent feedback on the course selection of EBS and its teaching methods.

What did EBS give you?

Certainly, a bachelor’s degree is a good base for business studies. Also, an inspirational and innovative teaching environment, international friends & life-changing exchange year experience in Mexico. I also improved my language skills, problem-solving skill as well as presentation skills.

To whom would you recommend EBS?

I would recommend EBS to anyone interested in business studies and who desire to improve their business thinking and learn about the practices and theories of international business.

What was your first corporate job?

I started my corporate career already before EBS studies as a corporate assistant. My first corporate job after EBS was as Service Adviser for Nets Oy.

What are you currently doing for a living?

I work as an executive producer for a creative marketing agency in Helsinki. I am responsible for planning, budgeting, organizing, and directing local and international corporate events, while ensuring these productions are on time, on budget, and within the scope.

What is your future dream?

To continue developing myself, producing and directing world-class events, and giving back my knowledge and experience to others.

My Alumni career advice would be?

Start networking as soon as possible and make connections. Find yourself a mentor, for example through a mentor program, in Finland, we have a Suomen Mentorit.  If you have a clear dream, don´t be afraid to go towards it, you will find a way to achieve it, even if it would take some time.
