EBS International Summer School presents: 30 under 30
The mission of EBS is to inspire and support entrepreneurial young people and help them reach their full potential. Since we are one of the leaders of digital transformation in higher education and focus on promoting the circular and green economy in business education, we have decided to give out our first 30 under 30 titles in this field.
“The digital and green transformation must emphasize more grassroots initiatives in addition to policy goals,” says EBS rector Meelis Kitsing. According to Kitsing such youth initiatives can be about launch of a new business, a new engineering solution, implementation of change in a larger organization or improving life in local communities, schools or neighbourhoods. “Youth boost the young by setting positive examples – particularly because positive changes will affect their life most in the long run,” added Kitsing.
If you know an Estonian or someone who is based in Estonia and is excelling professionally in the fields of sustainability or digitalization nominate them to be considered for the 30 under 30 award.
The Award winners will be recognized at the International Summer School in Digitalization and Sustainability that will take place in August 2021.
A perfect candidate:
- Innovator and next generation leader
- Young entrepreneur or intrapreneur
- Has lead a major project in the fields of sustainability or digitalization
- Generally changing the world
- Serves as an exceptional example to others
- Will be under the age of 30 as of 31 December, 2021.

Competition rules:
- Applicant should be under the age of 30 as of 31st December 2021
- Professionals who are based in Estonia
- Multiple nominations from the same company are welcomed
- All nominations should be submitted through the official online form
- Partial applications with missing documents or omitted answers will not be considered
- All information furnished should be correct & up to date, as it is critical for adequate assessment
- Please keep the answers in the online form under 250 characters.
- Individuals may self-nominate for the award
The application period for the 30 under 30 class of 2021 opens 6 April 2021, at noon GMT and closes 16 July 2021, at noon GMT.
The honorees will speak during EBS Summer University on the 18 August.
