A New Beginning at EBS High School: Welcome, New Challenges and Opportunities!

On the 2nd of September 2024, a new academic year commenced at EBS High School. During the formal opening ceremony, Headmaster Kersti Uudla warmly welcomed students and teachers with an inspiring speech, encouraging everyone to set new goals and take full advantage of the opportunities this school year presents.

EBS Kicks Off the New Academic Year with Ambition

On Friday, August 30, 2024, all members of the EBS academic community gathered in the school auditorium for the official opening ceremony of the academic year. Following tradition, the event began with the Estonian national anthem, after which EBS Chancellor, the university’s Rector, the Headmistress of the Gymnasium, and the heads of postgraduate and continuing education programs addressed the audience. Despite various challenges, the consensus was clear: EBS is ready to maintain and strengthen its position as a leading business school both in Estonia and internationally. The ceremony also included recognition of the outstanding faculty members and contributors to the school’s development efforts from the previous academic year.

EBS Researchers Shine at the 27th Nordic Academy of Management Conference 2024

The 27th Nordic Academy of Management (NFF) Conference 2024, a significant event in the field of management research, took place in Reykjavik, Iceland, hosted by the University of Iceland (Háskóli Íslands). This prominent conference brought together scholars and researchers from across the Nordic countries to discuss the latest advancements in management studies. Among the esteemed participants were two dedicated researchers from Estonian Business School (EBS), Aleksandra Kekkonen and Ilona Beliatskaya, who made notable contributions to the conference.

How did EBS High School reach the top of the rankings?

EBS High School has recently completed an extensive internal evaluation process, the results of which are reflected in the 2023 report. The internal evaluation covered the period from 2015 to 2023, focusing on various aspects of the school's operations, including management, resource management, collaboration with stakeholders, and teaching and educational processes. The goal of the evaluation was to identify the school's strengths and potential areas for improvement, ensuring conditions that support student development and the school's continuous growth.
