Our autumn season was inspired by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s heartfelt and thought-provoking work “The Little Prince”, through which we explored themes of friendship, responsibility, and imagination. In the spring, we set off on an adventure with Lewis Carroll’s classic “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”, giving the children the chance to reflect on identity, absurdity, and the power of fantasy.
Now, as spring draws to a close, we are preparing for a special event: this Friday, 9 May, we will open the children’s spring exhibition, showcasing the young artists’ creations that emerged from their discussions and explorations over the season. The exhibition is full of colour, ideas, and bold reflections, capturing the depth and creativity of a child’s view of the world.
The club’s leader and mentor, Kaie Metsla, has created an inspiring atmosphere where every child feels that their thoughts and ideas are valued. “The idea behind the club is simple, yet profound,” says Kaie. “Children’s thoughts are just as valuable as those of adults — often even more unexpected and honest. Our task is to create a space where these voices can be heard, and imagination can soar freely.”
We warmly invite everyone to come and experience this joyful and inspiring event! Come along and let yourself be surprised by the colourful ideas and imaginative works of these young minds.
