Estonian Business School is excited to announce its first International Summer School that will take place in Tallinn and Helsinki on 9-19 August 2021. In cooperation with the European Commission and Embassy of France in Estonia, EBS invites international and domestic students to mingle with a Nobel Prize winner, top Estonian and EU officials, distinguished professors and entrepreneurs. Send your application to summerschool@ebs.ee, admission is rolling.

The summer school focuses on the digital and green transformations and investigates what this means for the companies and their business models. Special attention will be given to engaging women participants and other minorities, who are historically underrepresented in global business, especially in the top leadership roles.

“The digital and green transformation can only happen with significant changes in business models. A combination of diverse business, economic, policy and management perspectives offered by our distinguished faculty will provide fundamental ingredients for generating new ideas. I hope future leaders gathering at the EBS Summer School will turn these ideas into reality,” says EBS rector professor Meelis Kitsing.

“Data is the new oil. However, it is not the quantity of data that matters, but how data enhances our understanding of the world that makes it valuable to decision-makers. This summer school focuses on the rapidly growing digital and sustainability sectors, both of which are enabled by the data revolution. We hope to make this event a summer tradition at EBS and a gathering place for movers and shakers in the field,” comments EBS summer school academic director Dr. Anna Ebers Broughel.
