EBS 35 speech competition: Community for Growth and Responsibility

kõne
In honour of the 35th anniversary of EBS, we are announcing a speech competition and inviting both EBS high school and university students to participate in it. The winner's speeches of both categories will be presented during an EBS 35 gala ceremony in Estonia Concert Hall on December 7.

EBS has a long and dignified history, anchored in its mission to "inspire and support our stakeholders to achieve their full potential in value co- creation". At the same time, we always keep looking forward, aiming to contribute to shaping the future, but also taking responsibility towards society and the world around us. Grounded in timeless EBS values and guided by responsibility, we are creating an era today that is driven by the desire to inspire, learn, grow, and develop as a community, all the while being socially responsible.

Community for Growth and Responsibility - As members of the diverse EBS community, each of us interprets this guiding principle a little differently. However, these distinct opinions and perspectives are vital for guiding EBS in its daily work and in shaping the future. It is especially important to understand the meaning of Community for Growth and Responsibility for the people who really are the change makers - EBS pupils and students.

The jury of the speech competition comprises of Mari Kooskora – Associate Professor in Business Ethics and Responsible Entrepreneurship at EBS, Mart Habakuk – Chancellor and Board Member of EBS, Eda Pihu-Lainela – Head of EBS Library, Allan Männi – Estonian Language and Literature Teacher at EBS High School, and Tiit Aleksejev – Estonian novelist, historian, Chairman of the Estonian Writers’ Union and PhD student at EBS.
