Sigrid Lainevee, EBS Research Development and Doctoral Study Coordinator: „EBS doctoral study program is unique in Estonia. Specialized in management, this doctoral study programme has a practical approach which connects research with the „real“ world. Today, we see that alongside classical academic doctoral studies, there is a growing demand for practical, business-oriented doctoral studies. Entrepreneurs have data that they want to be able to analyze, and a number of questions have arisen that require scientifically based answers and working solutions.
With the help of EBS doctoral students and aided by the specialized and individualized doctoral programme for management, we can bring clarity to the activities of companies and organizations. The hands-on approach of the programme enables us to solve real-life problems by providing science-based answers to specific questions.
For doctoral students, our curriculum is an excellent opportunity to do research, which is expressed in a very practical form in new and real solutions that work in the business world."
