Enterprise Educators UK is a distinguished network of UK universities which has functioned for nearly 30 years and also includes our partners Lancaster University and Nottingham Trent.

From 9th to 11th September Enterprise Educators UK held the 14th International Entrepreneurship Educators conference where the member universities of the network, entrepreneurship lecturers and practitioners supporting entrepreneurship studies shared their most valuable experiences.

This year’s main topic was “Education on a Global Stage”. This was the second time for EBS to participate in this conference and this year EBS also conducted a workshop in a track “Social enterprise and innovation”. The best presentations were also chosen from each track. The joint team of EBS and University of Tartu, consisting of Marge Täks (EBS) and Elina Kallas (UT), was announced as the best of its track.

The title of the workshop was “Process for building innovative horizontals that empower bold solutions”. Täks and Kallas introduced the process of discovering business opportunities (Spot process), which gives practical and clear instructions on how to find opportunities, analyze and map solutions of innovation which amplify emerging technologies.
