According to the EBS team leader Ele-Liis Kreek the reason their team entered the competition was the chance to learn from others’ experiences - "I’m very grateful for the opportunity to work in a team and to grow together". Ele-Liis also explained, that the case study about Artolio, was more challenging than they had expected. Artolio is a platform where Mediterranean region artisanal olive oil producers could receive know-how about best farming solutions and also use it as a marketplace to reach directly to end customer. The teams had to define target markets and create a go-to-market strategy. The hardest challenge, by Ele-Liis' words, was to apply ideas, suggestions, and case analysis within a limited number of pages and time.
A team member Katrin Romanenkov suggested future participants to analyze very carefully what is expected of them and if there are hesitations, to ask for a clarification.
Another team member Nikhil Krishnan commented competition: “I realized that sustainability-oriented strategy is essential for businesses going forward. Communicating sustainability initiatives requires powerful storytelling. That is why marketing is important in driving sustainability goals, which help businesses serve customers and society positively”.
