The Estonian Business School (EBS) Executive Education, in cooperation with other reputable universities and internationally recognised experts, invites top executives to join a development programme that will help their companies succeed sustainably, conserving natural resources and ensuring people's well-being.
"A successful 21st century executive has the knowledge and skills to bring out the best in their teams, develop innovative business models, conserve natural resources and create break-even value for the company, its stakeholders and the environment,” says Siiri Mall Musten, Head of the EBS Executive Education programme and learning experience design. "For this, we have created a development programme, in other words an executive development accelerator, that brings participants together with innovative trainers and senior practitioners in five European countries, focusing on sustainable success, the impact of entrepreneurship on society and the ecosystem.”
According to Musten, the executives participating in the development programme can create invaluable future networks both on a personal level and for their company across industries and internationally. With this year-long programme, we will ensure that the top executives are prepared for the future by showing how challenges can act as drivers of innovation, providing knowledge of modern and necessary concepts and solutions. The programme's approach is hybrid and blended learning, which means face-to-face and virtual meetings with innovative CEOs, company visits, hands-on business experiments, expert mentoring and introspection.
"We will meet in different European cities to practice new management tools, not sit in lectures, and we will only accept 12 participants at a time so that everyone has a high quality experience,” said Musten. "Every company should think about whether their executive has the knowledge and skills suitable for the future and whether they are moving in a direction that creates added value for all the company's stakeholders."
The English development programme will begin in September 2022 and consist of six 3-day modules:
- global megatrends (EBS Helsinki Campus, Finland),
- sustainable and circular business strategies (Rennes Business School, France),
- technology and data management (Kozminski University, Poland),
- green finance (EBS Tallinn Campus, Estonia),
- management and organisation (University of St. Gallen Training Centre, St. Gallen, Switzerland) and
- marketing and transformation (EBS Tallinn Campus, Estonia).
According to Jari Kukkonen, Head of EBS Executive Education, the modules are designed to create executives who have a deep sense of purpose, self-awareness, stakeholder orientation and the ability to think systematically. "Executives will gain in-depth knowledge of how to create a strategy and business model based on sustainability and the circular economy and integrate technology and digital opportunities, i.e. they will have the ability to design a suitable organisational structure for the future," added Kukkonen. "The future is not scary, as it is in our own hands."
The partners are reputable European universities and one of Europe's leading energy companies, Eesti Energia. Kozminski University is ranked as the best business school in Central and Eastern Europe by the Financial Times and the Rennes School of Business is the most international and highly regarded management school in France. All participants are invited to the Managing Renewable Energy & E-Mobility Conference, organised by the school of management and business model innovation, University of St. Gallen.
