About

Marko has worked with a variety of economic, financial and strategic analyses from power plant feasibility studies to country level performance management. He has multifaceted knowledge of energy operators’ value chains and excellent understanding of electricity markets.
As Head of Electric Transport Services at Estonia's largest DSO Elektrilevi, Marko is tasked with addressing electromobility as part of the company's commitment to deliver a full range of electricity services to its customers. Previously, Marko project managed tens of valuation projects in technical and commercial due diligence and investor advisory, covering large and small hydropower, wind power and solar power generation, as well as electricity distribution and district heating / cooling networks. Having lived in 9 countries on 3 continents and work experience from 20+ countries in 4 continents, his broad network covers energy companies, institutional investors and transaction advisors across the globe.
Marko has a PhD in economics and a double master’s degree in international business and international management. He has a strong educational background in economics and business management from universities in Tartu (Estonia), Copenhagen (Denmark) and Stockholm (Sweden).
