Who did you want to become as a grown-up? A fashion designer.

What is your motto of success? In the currently fast changing world I have valued the options for self development and the opportunity to do and experience things in different fields the most. The skills and experience acquired from such activities and events will create diverse knowledge that enables to stand out and offer notable value.

Which book do you advise every EBS student to read? I dare advise the book by Brent Adamson and Matthew Dixon “The Challenger Sale: Taking Control of the Customer Conversation”.

What are your duties of employment? I am currently working in a successful fintech-start-up that is a spin-off from Y-Combinator, and promotes the monthly fee-oriented usage of a smart device and does away with the need to own things. I work in a professional team and see daily how to operate a company with worldwide expansion plans and manage an international team. I constantly acquire new ideas and learn from the best people in their field. This will enable me to gain solid experience and equip with courage to try out my own business ideas and not repeat the mistakes made by other people earlier.

Why did you choose EBS for your studies? I have seen entrepreneurship on the example of my parents for 23 years and as EBS is the leading university offering entrepreneurial education, this was a natural choice.

What is the most essential thing you have learned at EBS? EBS has provided a lot of practical knowledge, a courage to act and acquainted me with many good active young people, who could help to do great things in the future. As a Vice-President of the Student Council of EBS, I have had an opportunity to learn how to manage and co-ordinate people on the local and international level.

What kind of a person is EBS meant for? EBS is meant for an open-minded person who is ready for action, wants to develop their business skills, create a strong and broad based network of contacts, and offer essential added value in their work and activities. When I started at the International Business Administration programme, I met a lot of students with a spark in their eyes, whereas their goal-orientation has been constantly growing in time.

What would you advise the current EBS students? I would advise to take and use every opportunity that the school offers. After three years of studies at EBS I may assure that all the projects, courses and people met have taken me further in life.
