Marge Täks acquired higher education at Estonian Business School (EBS) in the programme of International Business Administration (1998–2003) and was an exchange student in the Netherlands (InHolland University of Professional Education) where she specialised in International Marketing Management (2001-2002). She also studied Andragogy in a Master's programme at Tallinn University (2009-2010) and graduated with a Ph.D. in Educational Sciences from Tartu University in May 2015. Marge's major research field is primarily related to entrepreneurship education.
In 2011, Marge was awarded the I prize for A Learning Lecturer from the quality development programme Primus. In 2014, she was awarded a prize for collaboration from the Primus programme.
Marge is closely related to the priority research field of “Implementation Plan for Cohesion Policy Funds 2014-2020”, which is “Education Correspondent to the Requirements of the Society and Good Preparation for Participation in the Labour Market”, subsection “Systemic Development of Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurial Education at All the Levels of Education”.
Marge has worked at Saku Brewery as the Secretary of the Board of Management, PepsiCo Product Manager and Soft Drinks Project Manager, a Project Manager in an advertising agency Inorek & Grey, the Head of Marketing Manager at AS Eesti Post, etc.
