Olav Aarna was the Rector of Tallinn University of Technology between 1991 and 2000 and the Rector of EBS from 2000 to 2003. Currently, Olav Aarna is a professor extraordinarius of Law and Public Administration at EBS. Olav Aarna was accepted as a member of the Estonian Academy of Sciences in 1990. Olav Aarna is a member of many research organisations both in Estonia and abroad. He has supervised several PhD, Master’s and Bachelor’s theses. He has published around one hundred research papers. He is an external member of the Finnish-Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences and he has been awarded an honorary doctorate from Tampere University of Technology.
