Ilona Beliatskaya is a lecturer and researcher in smart cities, e-tourism, and digital wellbeing. Currently, she works as a Junior Research Fellow at EBS, where she also studies in a doctoral program.
Her research focus lies in the evolution of modern cities which are grounded on the sense of community involvement, social inclusion, and sustainable practices, yet following the digital transformation to ensure a better quality of life. Also, Ilona is experienced in digital marketing for service industries (tourism, wellness, hospitality) and certified event organizer. She is passionate about startups, entrepreneurship, and innovations with roots in CESEE countries, and an advocate of slow travel.
