Kristiina Urb has been working at EBSAS as a consultant since January 2018. Urb has improved her skills at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne in Germany and graduated from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. For her Master’s studies, Urb chose the cultural management joint programme taught at EBS because she focuses on creative entrepreneurs and ways to support them. Currently, Urb is a PhD student at EBS where she researches the cooperation between creative entrepreneurs and other sectors. She has been active as a creative entrepreneur since 2008, managing a graphic design agency and a creative studio that develops audiovisual solutions. Since 2014, she has been focusing on supporting creative industries and entrepreneurs by applying her knowledge and experience to research the field in academia and consulting creative and cultural organisations. Urb also works as an independent expert in the field of creative industries and innovation for the European Commission.
