Agu Uudelepp passed away on 4 February due to a severe illness. At EBS, Agu worked at the Department of Marketing and Communication and was appointed Chairman of the Master’s Studies’ Supervisory Board.

EBS commemorates Agu Uudelepp, who battled lung cancer for many years and passed away at the age of 45. Long-time journalist, public relations officer and lecturer, Uudelepp made a valuable contribution to EBS as Chairman of the Master’s Studies Supervisory Board (2013-2017) and lecturer of the Department of Marketing and Communication (2013-2018). Until today, Agu worked as a Senior Lecturer in the same department.

Agu’s colleagues at EBS will remember him both as a bright and analytical thinker as well as a highly esteemed lecturer who was often described by his students as ‘simply the best’.

“Agu was an expert in his own field,” says Arno Almann, Rector of EBS, on remembering his cooperation with Agu, “an inspiration to his students and colleagues alike. The Estonian Business School and the whole of Estonia have lost an extremely valuable person from whom we had much to learn. We are deeply grateful for Agu’s contribution to the development of our university and he will be sorely missed.“

The Estonian Business School extends its condolences to Agu Uudelepp’s family and loved ones.
