It is often said that theory is one thing, but practice is quite another. Therefore, EBS has set the goal of linking academic education more closely with practical business needs.

Estonian Business School (EBS) and the programming school kood/Jõhvi have started a collaboration to offer their students new opportunities in the fields of IT and business education. The first joint project will offer kood/Jõhvi alumni the opportunity to obtain a bachelor's degree in entrepreneurship from EBS in just two years. A year later, EBS students will have the opportunity to receive programming education at kood/Jõhvi.

Reflecting on EBS's Vision for 2028, several important keywords come to the forefront: artificial intelligence (AI), collaboration, internationalization, lifelong learning, and the synergy between science and entrepreneurship. These elements guide us to understand why people, cooperation, friendship, and community at EBS are important.

The EU-funded RIS4SEB project assists European universities in participating in the Horizon Europe programme, which focuses on improved funding and innovation in research. The project will develop strategies to enhance research and innovation capabilities and to foster human resource development.

To meet the expectations of students and employers and to ensure the programme's continued popularity and relevance, EBS's Bachelor’s programme in Entrepreneurship and Business Administration has undergone significant changes. What specific updates have been implemented, and how will they impact students, today's and future entrepreneurs, and the business landscape in general? The year was 1988; the ideological directions were set, but one man, Madis Habakuk, envisioned a different future... For 35 years, EBS has been striving towards this alternative future every day. 26th June 2024, EBS had the pleasure of hosting a successful PhD workshop focused on fostering research and collaboration among doctoral students in economics at Estonian universities. The event was co-organised by the members of Eesti Doktorikool: Tallinn University of Technology (Taltech), Eesti Pank (Associate member, EP), Estonian Business School (EBS).

Pursuing a master’s degree is a significant step that requires careful consideration and commitment. While it opens the door to numerous opportunities and advantages, it also comes with its own set of challenges. Understanding both the benefits and difficulties associated with earning a master’s degree can help prospective students make informed decisions about their educational paths.

Knowing that the future arrives faster than expected and that a university must be able to glimpse into the future while staying in the present has been natural at EBS throughout its entire operational history. The vision of EBS for the year 2028 highlights keywords such as lifelong learning, internationalisation, collaboration, and the synergy of science and entrepreneurship – to name just a few.

On June 21, 2024, EBS High School concluded the 2023/2024 academic year and celebrated the last school day of the graduating class with the spring Graduation Ceremony. Kersti Uudla presented 45 diplomas and recognized eight students with gold and silver medals (2 gold medals, 6 silver medals).

On Thursday, June 20, 2024, EBS University held its spring Graduation Ceremony at the Estonia Concert Hall, where diplomas were awarded to 219 students. An EBS diploma was conferred upon 159 bachelor`s students, 55 master's students, and 5 doctoral students. A total of 14 graduates received their diplomas with the distinction of cum laude.
