EBS helps students choose the right specialties via design thinking

Design thinking, which has spread as a trend in management in recent years, has reached the Estonian education system as well – EBS offers people who want to start studying for a degree a short course developed by the principle of design thinking, which will help them make informed choices about their careers and find the most suitable university and specialty.

The doctoral thesis defended at the EBS on Thursday, 9 May, reveals that Estonians fail to make full use of their knowledge and income in organising their personal finances to secure their future well-being. Instead, they tend to focus on the present and make financial decisions that are often irrational. The financial literacy level of young people can be explained through both the number of books at home and their family’s wealth.

Award that inspires to ask for more

Estonian Business School was awarded the Baltic Management Development Association (BMDA) Innovativeness Award at the beginning of April. The Award was given to the Estonian Business School for the outstanding demonstration of innovativeness in study programs, learning methods, as well as for the integration of those novelties into everyday business activities.

EBS awarded a diploma to 78 graduates at its winter graduation ceremony

The winter graduation ceremony of EBS took place on 13 December at the Estonian Concert Hall. Diplomas were awarded to 78 graduates including 2 Doctoral diplomas, 17 Master´s diplomas and 59 Bachelor´s diplomas.

EBS has two new doctors honoris causa

EBS awarded two titles of doctor honoris causa at the Gala to celebrate its 30th anniversary in the Estonian Concert Hall on 8th December. A doctor honoris causa of EBS will become a person who has made a great contribution to the scientific research- and internationalisation of EBS.
