According the the Graduate Management Admissions Council (GMAC), the group that administers the main MBA admissions test, the GMAT, median new hire MBA salaries have increased from $105,00 to $115,000 in 2018. Granted, that level is impacted substantially by geographic location, industry, and experience of applicant, but as you can see, the salary benefits are non-trivial.

EBS awarded 159 diplomas at its graduation ceremony

On Monday, 17th June, EBS had its spring graduation ceremony at the Estonian Concert Hall where 159 graduates were awarded graduation diplomas. There were 96 Bachelor´s graduates, 60 Master´s graduates and 3 Doctoral graduates. There were 14 graduates who graduated Cum Laude.

Leonore Riitsalu’s doctoral thesis: Estonians are not taking sufficient advantage of their knowledge and income to secure their future

The doctoral thesis defended at the EBS on Thursday, 9 May, reveals that Estonians fail to make full use of their knowledge and income in organising their personal finances to secure their future well-being. Instead, they tend to focus on the present and make financial decisions that are often irrational. The financial literacy level of young people can be explained through both the number of books at home and their family’s wealth.

Award that inspires to ask for more

Estonian Business School was awarded the Baltic Management Development Association (BMDA) Innovativeness Award at the beginning of April. The Award was given to the Estonian Business School for the outstanding demonstration of innovativeness in study programs, learning methods, as well as for the integration of those novelties into everyday business activities.

Besides flues, blossoms and the "I-will-make-it-to-graduation-this-spring" attitude that we meet every spring, there's something else.
