On 28 December 2018, a founder of EBS, professor Madis Habakuk would have celebrated his 80th birthday. It is notable that this year EBS celebrates the 30th anniversary of its activity. We have asked the Rectors of EBS - professor Olav Aarna, professor Peeter Kross and professor Arno Almann an overview of their collaboration with Madis Habakuk.
The winter graduation ceremony of EBS took place on 13 December at the Estonian Concert Hall. Diplomas were awarded to 78 graduates including 2 Doctoral diplomas, 17 Master´s diplomas and 59 Bachelor´s diplomas.
EBS awarded two titles of doctor honoris causa at the Gala to celebrate its 30th anniversary in the Estonian Concert Hall on 8th December. A doctor honoris causa of EBS will become a person who has made a great contribution to the scientific research- and internationalisation of EBS.

Estonian Businesss School started its winter admission and it is possible to apply for all the Bachelor´s and Master´s programmes in Tallinn and Helsinki. The admitted students may start with their studies already in the spring semester.
EBS Helsinki branch student union HEBS became part of NESU – Nordic Economic Student Union. For the Estonians probably the most familiar NESU organisation is NESU Tallinn, to which HEBS belonged as well. However, starting from this autumn, NESU-HEBS operates as its own suborganisation under them.
