In celebration of its 35th anniversary, EBS has initiated a fund aimed at addressing the challenges faced by educational entrepreneurship - the EBS Impact Fund. One of its key objectives for the coming years is to unite efforts to make the Estonian education market more open, thereby adapting more quickly to new technologies and global competition. Another goal is to provide private capital with more equal opportunities to offer their products and services in the education market.

In late November and early December, the EBS teams had the opportunity to experience two very different educational and career fairs, each with its unique story of success. In Finland EBS participated in Studia fair for the 10th time. We also visited Germany as first-time participants in master's and bachelor's degree fairs organised by border concepts in Hamburg.

EBS had the pleasure and honour of hosting a large number of alumni, students, former and current staff, and valuable partners – over 700 guests in total – at the anniversary gala held at the Estonia Concert Hall. The festive event, held on December 7th, was filled with sparkle and joy, offering heartfelt reunions, prestigious recognitions, and unforgettable culinary and cultural experiences.

Since the autumn, EBS's doctoral programme has been enriched by three versatile junior researchers. Hira Wajahat Malik, Kaie Koppel, and Tiit Aleksejev, representing diverse fields of study, bring uniqueness and diversity to EBS's research work.

EBS bachelor students of International Business Administration programme, specialising in Finance and Accounting, recently had the privilege of visiting SEB Bank. The insights shared about the sector's latest developments and challenges, alongside best practice examples, were incredibly enlightening.

This autumn, a collaboration begins between EBS and RASK Attorneys-at-Law, driven by the university's mission to create a community for growth and responsibility, applying the best contemporary management knowledge to the challenges facing businesses.

On the event held Tallinn from 13th to 17th November 2023, EBS representatives introduced visitors to the university's innovative programmes and courses related to green themes, spreading EBS's message of responsibility – a university looking towards the future and contributing to a greener, more sustainable business and living environment.

Her doctoral thesis, "The Effects of External Group Supervision on Individual Professional Performance of Estonian Social Workers" demonstrates the wide scope and versatility of management as a field.
